While it is not intended to be a comprehensive SLA curriculum, the materials fill the gap in our present
curriculum for developing phonological awareness in Spanish. They are simple to follow and would be an
excellent support for at-home learning, for small group in-person use, or even whole class as needed.
They might fill the gap for students who lost learning and need to catch up on foundational skills, but
using alternative materials. There certainly are some second graders who would benefit also.
